On 16.10.2019 was the last day of trainings on the topic "Implementation of European Union good practices" in the new training centre of the Prosperity and Development for Bulgaria Association, Blagoevgrad. A joint Bulgarian-Greek group of experts in the wine industry, administration and media have worked together on problems with endangered local vine varieties and global conservation approaches. The role of professionals and local administrations in delivering results in this area from around the world was shared. Free trainings on "Implementing European Union Good Practices" were held from October 1st to 3rd at the specially created Training Center under the project in Blagoevgrad.The investment is under the VINESOS project for endangered traditional vine varieties under the Interreg V-A program "Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020" and includes modern furniture and multimedia equipment in three premises, which will provide interactive lectures and their broadcast in real time on the Internet.

The VineSOS project addresses the main problems and challenges in the Greek-Bulgarian cross-border area, related to the local biodiversity and vine varieties, especially those within Natura 2000 sites.
